Freddie the frog and his family live in a beautiful frog-bog by the banks of a crystal clear lake. Slowly their waterways become polluted, and the family of frogs begin to get sick.
Just when they think the pollution is there to stay, everything changes for the better when a little girl called Charlie comes along and helps to clean up the mess.
This book is suitable for children of all ages and is particularly useful in early childhood education as it covers environmental issues that tie in with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standard.
Kelly is in the process of writing her second book The Boy Who Saved The Whales. Keep an eye out for her future titles.

Kelly Mrocki | Mother-of-two Kelly Mrocki is a dedicated early childhood educator who works at her local kindergarten. Her childhood years were spent growing up in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges, sparking a life-long love of nature that she shares with her caring and environmentally conscious children. |
--> | After a visit to Healesville Sanctuary, Kelly’s children were upset to learn that so many animals were perilously near extinction. The children wanted to help, but didn’t know where to start. Kelly took initiative, and decided that her children could each choose an animal to research and represent. Her son Josh chose majestic whales, and her daughter Charlie chose frogs. Together they have done many things to help save their chosen animals. To acknowledge the wonderful things that her daughter has done in her quest to raise awareness of the plight of the frog, Kelly decided to write a book, hoping it may inspire other children and show them that it doesn’t take a lot of effort to make a big difference in the world. |
---> | In addition to her love of nature and dedication to her work, Kelly has always enjoyed drawing and painting. She dabbles with different media on her easel at home and especially loves painting birds and other wildlife. In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband and family. |
Charlie Mrocki | A few years ago Charlie presented a project about saving frogs to her kinder class. In 2013 she raised $300 for the Melbourne Zoo frog-breeding program by selling homemade washing powder to her school friends and family. She has recently created a frog pond in her own backyard and is patiently waiting for frogs to make it their home |
